Sometimes if a computer is heavily infected and too many critical Windows files are damaged, the only practical way forward is to format the system and reinstall Windows. Rogues and friends of spies...Beware! Some of the so-called spyware removers available for download are 'Rogue' applications that may cause more harm than good. Some are next to useless - they 'find' problems that don't really exist and then encourage you to use your credit card online to pay for removal (and who knows what else...).
